WELCOME TO ULU FENCING
The club serves all Student members of the University of London's 28 Colleges and Institutes. Whether you're a beginner or experienced fencer, this club will cater for you. So, have a browse round our website and if you like what you see come along on a Tuesday evening and join in the fun.
Use the navigator window on the left of the screen to get around the website. More information can be found in the FAQ section. Feel free to register for our forums also, just don't forget to introduce yourself.
Tuesdays, 18:00 - 19.30 (Poules), 19.30 - 22:00 (Free Fencing+ Coaching / Beginners sessions)

August changes for Fencing |

Fencing over summer is changing, during August renovations are finally happening to the Upper Hall and Venue. As a result Fencing is moving to Friday night 7-10pm in room 3C/D.
6th August - Fencing in room 3C/D
13th August - FREE FENCING! in Upper Hall (social cancelled)
20th August - Fencing in room 3C/D
27th August - Fencing in room 3C/D
If there are any changes to this schedule I will let you know asap. 3C/D is a smaller room then the Upper Hall, we will do our best to get as many pistes out as possible but may be limited to 2 pistes. Fights will be to limited hits in order to allow the maximum amount of fencing for those who turn up.

Fencing is ON 8th June and Club Champs tomorrow |

Good news! Fencing WILL BE ON next Tuesday the 8th of June.
So last minute training is in order for LIUF next weekend 12th/13th June. Suitable for novices and experienced fencers, this is a mixed individual competition run by UCL. Foil 9am check in on Saturday, Epee 9am and Sabre 10 am on Sunday, with £10 entry fee. If you want to enter please e-mail club@ulufencing.net ASAP, i.e. NOW.
TOMORROW: Club Championship – 5th June - The Upper Hall @ ULU
Your chance to fence against all the other club members in as many weapons as you choose. Whatever your fencing experience we want you to come along and compete.
The best fencer over all three weapons will be crowned Club Champion and awarded The Izotov Cup, while there will also be prizes for: Individual Winners in each weapon, Best women's performance, Best Beginner's performance.
Entry Fees: £2 per weapon.

Dear All,
Exams are over and fencing's end of year spectacular begins. Firstly we have the annual Club Championships, open to EVERY member of the club especially novices as there is a prize for best beginner. Then no fencing on the 8th June, instead there will be a social details to follow on this. And finally LIUF, a mixed competition held annually by UCL for all levels of fencer on the 12/13th June, we will be handing over OFFICIALLY to the new committee on this weekend and will be throwing a handover (and hopefully victory) party then as well. Just a notice that term begins tomorrow Tuesday 27th April and so Fencing resumes normal format from 6-10pm in the Upper Hall.

Remember there is no fencing today Tuesday 6th April as the ULU building is closed for Easter.
Instead we can be found just down the road at the Marlborough Arms (click here for map) from 8pm!
